About
Hello, I’m Kyle. I am a photographer and filmmaker based in Perth, Scotland.
I absolutely love working in the wedding industry and believe it or not, 2023 will be my 23rd year of doing so! I first got involved with weddings at the age of 9 when I was asked to play bagpipes for a family friend. In 2016 I purchased my first proper camera and soon after had my first professional wedding job.
Weddings are such special days and it really is an honour for me to capture your history in the making. The photos and films I create are moments that you are going to want to look back on for years and years to come.
My style of shooting would be described as documentary, which essentially means I’ll be looking for candid moments all throughout the day, capturing special moments of you and your partner as well as all of your family and friends. Photographers play an important role in your wedding day - you’ll spend as much time with me as you will with your partner, you’ll be pleased to hear! I’ll be happy to work closely with your celebrant, MUA, wedding planner, musicians and friends and family.
So a little bit more about me. When I’m not photographing or filming weddings I teach bagpipes, part-time, for one of the most prestigious schools in the UK. For over ten years I performed with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers which included recording on albums, touring and led to recording bagpipes for Disney Pixar’s hit movie, Brave, as well as DreamWorks Animation’s, How To Train Your Dragon 2 & 3. Other cool piping jobs include performing regularly for HRH Prince Charles, now King Charles! I also love swimming and travelling as often as I can - so far I’ve seen most of Europe, America, Canada, the Middle East and China.
Whether you’re getting married at home or abroad, I’d love to hear from you. Send me an email and let me know about you and your wedding plans!
